Al Ahly’s football first team delegation in Niger underwent a COVID-19 on Friday ahead of the team’s game against Niger’s Union Sportive de la Gendarmerie Nationale (USGN).

Friday’s COVID-19 test comes as part of the precautionary and preventive measures that are set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to combat the spread of the virus.

The Red Eagles will face USGN in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32 on Saturday at 5:30 PM, Cairo time, at Stade Général Seyni Kountché in Niamey.
